School Information
We have now moved into our new airconditioned studio, Unit 8/16-28 Research Rd, Pooraka, South Australia. This move allows us the opportunity to run day and weekend class as well as our regular classes at very minimal cost.
Classes are available in Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet, Hip Hop, Cheerleading and Contemporary. Exams are available in the CSTD syllabus for tap and jazz and RAD for ballet, and students can participate in competitions in June and October and performances throughout the year.

For all dance classes, appropriate clothing must be worn. Minimal jewellery is allowed and hair must be neat and off the face. School t-shirts and jackets are available for purchase.
All Ballet Classes: Girls are to wear a leotard, skirt & crossover that matches their class colour (hot pink for pink, dark purple for purple and navy blue for blue classes). Ballet stockings or socks (no shoes to be worn without either) and leather, correclty fitting ballet shoes are also required (shoes must be shown to the teacher before elastic is sewn on).

Class Information
Classes are run in a fun atmosphere so that students feel comfortable to reach their goals and aspirations. All dance classes start with a warm up and are then taught steps and combinations from the corner and in the centre before using these techniques in a routine. Exam work is taught in most classes, although exams are not compulsory.
All of our teachers have some level of First Aid training and are all police cleared and hold a "Play by the Rules" certificate in the mandated notification of child abuse.
It is important that every student pays attention to what is being shown to avoid injury and wasting of other students time. Please arrive at least five minutes before a class starts so that all class can start on time. Amanda is available for discussions and questions outside of the school’s hours of operation. Family and Friends are not usually permitted to sit in on the class to watch, as it can be distracting for some students. However throughout the year parents will be given the opportunity to watch classes and see how their child is developing.
Amanda Jane Productions prides itself on its professional attitude. Students are encouraged to have fun and participate in classes for enjoyment before deciding on dance as a career.
